Laptop My Ass

Contrary to Colin’s wishful thinking, I’m getting exactly squat. And as far as I can tell I’m going to be out all of the money I spent on that laptop for 30-60 days while DHL attempts to sort out where the hell the laptop went. (Note to Self: never use dhl again).

Installfest yesterday. I realized how much unsupported wireless cards are the bane of my existence. Such a pain in the arse getting the drivers all right and paired up with the right kernel and not segfaulting. I wish I knew what made hw vendors think that this was a good idea.

Did some various tidying around the office this sunday. Wasn’t too bad. I need to go home and vacuum there. The dog has taken to shedding a lot this week.

Only 5 more days until my vacation. Yay!
