The United Nation’s head climate scientist has suggested that the best way to reduce greenhouse emissions is to decrease consumption of meat.

I couldn’t agree more.

I’ve been a vegetarian (lacto-ovo) for the last 12 years, now, it’s not that difficult. But you don’t even have to be a vegetarian. Just drop the meals where you eat meat down to 2 or 3 in a week of meals.

  1. Does eating humans count as a two for one? You lower the greenhouse emissions of others and keep the meat?

The best way to reduce pollution of environment is to stop using cars.

    I thought that it’s obvious.

Guess what! Drinking milk supports and perpetuates the beef industry. You need to do away with the lacto part of your vegetarianism to stop supporting that industry.

  4. Here’s a great talk at TED which confirms the fact that the beef industry is one of the largest greenhouse gas producer : http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/mark_bittman_on_what_s_wrong_with_what_we_eat.html

    I’m sure you’ll like it.
