    This is the oldest package, not the date the machine was installed, right?

    Another one which is useful is the latest installed package date — a good way to tell if the machine has been updated recently. It’s a trivial modification of the one liner you posted.

    That looks a bit hacky, here’s a command you might not know about:

    repoquery –installed -qa –qf ‘%{installtime:isodate}’ | sort -nr | tail -1
