ssh agent expiration on suspend/hibernate

August 25, 2008

Dear Lazyweb,

Is there a nice way to tell gnome-power-manager to run ‘ssh-add -D’ as me before suspending or hibernating?

Thanks

just put a script in /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/

check this script i use to make madwifi behave.

remember to chmod +x the script 🙂

This was a feature planned for my ssh-agent-applet that I never got around to. I haven’t tested it on a recent Gnome so not sure how it runs these days.

If someone is interested I can try adding this feature.
